Privacy

SkinClarity is committed to handling information carefully. This page describes how we approach privacy for the public website and the authenticated annotation portal.
Public website
Visiting the SkinClarity homepage does not require an account. Standard web server logs (such as IP address, user agent, and request path) may be collected by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
Annotator Portal
- Access requires a SkinClarity account (username and password).
- Source images opened in the portal are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to SkinClarity servers as part of the ZIP annotation workflow.
- Annotation metadata you choose to export remains under your control until you share it with SkinClarity.
- Account credentials are stored as password hashes in our authentication database.
